Project Overview
This project ORB represents a next generation travel discovery mobile app that turns city exploration into an interactive and personalized experience.
Designed for both tourists and locals, the app helps users discover nearby attractions, hidden gems, get rewards and interactive experiences enhanced through gamified treasure hunts and immersive storytelling.
The goal was to build an app that feels alive and adaptive combining sleek design, location intelligence, and engaging user journeys to inspire real world adventure.
The main challenge was to design a feature rich, location based app that delivers information, engagement, and delight in one seamless flow.
We needed to craft a user experience that blends practicality (maps, routes, POIs) with the excitement of discovery and play all within a lightweight, visually captivating interface.

Scope of work
- Comprehensive UX/UI Design: Developed 15+ mobile screens covering onboarding, live map exploration, place detail views, discovery feed, and gamified reward screens. The UX focused on smooth transitions and intuitive motion-based interactions.
- Gamified Exploration Mechanism: Designed the “Unlock the Zone” experience a system where users explore areas, scan nearby locations, and earn rewards or badges based on proximity and activity.
- Visual Identity & Art Direction: Built a dark-mode design system with neon highlights (lime, cyan, amber) and strong typography to create a futuristic, high-energy visual atmosphere.
- Motion & Interaction Design: Integrated micro-animations and motion cues to enhance feedback (location unlocking, route confirmation, card reveals) for a dynamic, tactile experience.
- Responsive Design System: Developed a modular design library adaptable for iOS and Android platforms, ensuring seamless scaling across devices.
