Occasion Base is a vibrant, modern event-planning and vendor booking platform designed to make organizing celebrations effortless and enjoyable. It connects users with a curated network of venues, decorators, photographers, and entertainers all through a visually engaging and easy-to-navigate digital experience. The project’s goal was to create a platform that celebrates life’s special moments through design combining inspiration, functionality, and trust in one place.
The key challenge was to design an interface that feels energetic, festive, and elegant without overwhelming users with excessive visuals or information.
The platform needed to balance the excitement of celebrations with the clarity of a professional booking tool, ensuring that users could seamlessly find, compare, and connect with event service providers.

Scope of work
- Comprehensive UX/UI Design:Developed over 20 unique screens, including home, vendor listings, event categories, vendor profiles, booking system, and dashboards for clients and suppliers. The UX focused on guiding users naturally from discovery to engagement.
- Search & Booking Experience: Designed a dynamic filter and recommendation system, allowing users to quickly locate event professionals by category, location, or occasion type.
- Brand Identity & Visual Direction: Created a celebratory yet premium visual style using warm tones, elegant typography, and confetti-inspired accents. The color palette and font pairings were designed to radiate excitement and trust simultaneously.
- Responsive & Interactive Design: Built a responsive layout optimized for all devices, ensuring consistent functionality and visual impact whether viewed on desktop or mobile. Added motion effects and hover transitions to enhance interactivity.
- Collateral & Marketing Materials: Produced supporting promotional materials, such as banners, landing pages, and email templates — ensuring consistent branding across marketing touchpoints.
